Programme Summary:

 

The management teams role is the most demanding in the workplace. To achieve productive results they need to:-

 

  1. Paint a picture of where the business is going
  2. Develop the team to meet changing circumstances
  3. Obtain the most out of their staff
  4. Demonstrate a range of management capabilities
  5. Review what has been achieved

 Increasing emphasis is being placed on this within the Investors In Peple Standard

 

The challenge for the management team is to balance the demands being made upon them to produce results whilst building an environment which allows team members to contribute, enjoy their work and feel a sense of achievement.

 

 

Objectives:

 

  1. Reinforce the business objectives 
  2. Explore how these are communicated throughout the organisation.
  3. Introduce team improvement plans for each team
  4. Explore how it can make all staff feel included in their particular team
  5. Identify and understand the capabilities required by the management team.
